Certificate of conformity
You have purchased your real estate(s), transferred the title deed in your name and have signed 3 years holding commitment. There is a last step remaining on the title deed process. Getting Certificate of Conformity from General Directorate of Title Deed Office.
The Title Deed Office, where you have made the transaction, scans all the documents and sends them to their upper institution, which is the General Directorate of Title Deed Office, for examination. The General Directorate of Title Deed Office checks whether the calculation of 250,000 USD specified above in paragraph 5 and 6 and the 3 years holding commitment are in accordance with the procedure.
When the General Directorate of Title Deed Office completes its examination, approves the transaction and sends the certificate of conformity to the investor or investor’s legal representative via email, if the conditions specified in paragraph 5 and 6 are met.
Certificate of Conformity is proof that the applicant is eligible for Turkish Citizenship Application. In all Turkish residence permit processes & Turkish citizenship applications by investment processes have Certificate of Conformity phase. For Turkish Citizenship, Certificate of Conformity is one of the necessary documents which are provided by Turkish Government Authorities.
In cases where it is a single property, the Certificate of Conformity is issued by the General Directorate of the Title Deed. In case the investor purchases more than one real estate in different regions, a Certificate of Conformity will be issued by the General Directorate of the Regional Title Deed Office. The investor's title deed information will be collected by the General Directorate of the Regional Title Deed Office with the trust of the competent authorities.
Applicant’s Turkish Residence Permit process cannot be commenced without Certificate of Conformity. Correspondingly, Turkish Citizenship Application would not be proceeded. Turkish Citizenship application steps must be taken respectively. As long as there is a proper documentation and procedure transaction, Turkish Citizenship application will be finalised successfully.
